About Us

Ajay Varia and Jesse Ocon founded Growth Nirvana after working in leadership roles at two high-growth technology companies (MasterClass & Emeritus).

Let me go back 9 years ago. 

Jesse and I were the early employees at MasterClass. Actually, Jesse was the first engineer at Masterclass. I joined a few months after MasterClass launched. Our focus was on marketing, and we worked relentlessly to scale the business using every marketing channel you could think of. As we grew, we developed automated marketing dashboards for tracking metrics and generating reports fast. It was the perfect infrastructure for scaling MasterClass.

A few years later, Jesse and I joined another company. I was leading marketing & sales. Jesse was leading engineering. Once again, we found ourselves building the technology infrastructure to help the company grow through intelligent analytics. That’s when the opportunity to start a business came about. We took everything we had learned from our previous experiences and poured it into building a company.

Growth Nirvana.

We wanted to create a platform that could provide the same results for any business as our custom-built marketing dashboards had done for Masterclass and our previous company. Heck, better… Way better. We know that the success of any business hinges on smart decisions made using reliable data. That’s particularly true for marketing agencies & teams. And we were determined to deliver exactly that.

So, Growth Nirvana was born out of a problem Jesse and I repeatedly faced – not having access to the right metrics or an intuitive dashboard to make decisions fast.
